Valentine's Night Out for Parents!
Tuesday, February 14 from 6 - 8 pm

Celebrate Valentine's Day this year with a fun night out! Kids are invited to the library for a movie and snacks while parents are free to enjoy a few hours on the town. This event is for children five years old and up. Please call or stop by the library to register.



Upcoming Programs for Adults

  • Tuesday, February 21st at 7:00 pm
    How to Download E-Books to Your E-Reader. Mike Skara of the Chatham Adult School will discuss different E-Readers on the market and demonstrate how to download library books to a Kindle, Nook or IPad.


  • Thursday, February 23rd at 7:00 pm
    Taking Charge of Your Finances by Jonathan Krasney, President of Krasney Financial. Mr. Krasney will answer any and all questions from how to save for your child's college education to how to take advantage of the new estate tax laws.


  • Thursday, March 8th at 7:00 pm
    Just in time for St. Patty's Day! Join us for a special Celtic Harp performance by Faye Fishman.

Fletcher Gallery
The paintings of 98 year old artist, Dolli Zell Botnick, will be on display throughout February. The Curio Cabinet will feature the Lego creations of the library's Lego Club.

Winter Yoga
A new session of Yoga will begin in February with classes at 8:30 am on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Sign ups begin on Monday, February 13th!

New Video Game Collection
Check out our new video game lending collection! We have a limited number of E-rated (for everyone) titles focused on Xbox 360 and Wii. We hope to grow the collection as funds and donations permit. If your family has games suitable for donation, please contact Pat Charney, Library Director.

Teen Group

Join our Teen Group and have fun discussing new books, planning new programs and learning about volunteer opportunities at the library. Next meeting is Wednesday, February 1st at 6:30 pm!

E-Books Available at the Library

An eBook is an electronic version of a published book and can be read from PCs, laptops, eBook readers and palm pilots. Learn more about eBooks here or browse the online catalog.

Book Donations

We appreciate our patron's generosity in donating newer books and books in good condition. Please call before dropping off books and do not leave books outside or in the book drop when the library is closed.
