Star Wars/Superhero Drawing Workshop--Session 1

Thursday, Jan 16 6-7:30PM

Work along with comic book writer/artist Doug Baron as he demonstrates drawing some of your favorite Star Wars & Superhero characters.  Students will draw along with Doug as he breaks down characters such as Darth Vader, Storm Troopers, Spider-Man, Batman, Hulk, etc...from basic shapes to completed forums.  Along the way he will point out important aspects to consider such as guidelines, feature placement, expressions, lighting & shading, proportions, etc. Brief history and trivia questions will be touched upon where the students can earn funny money to win drawings as well Ages 8-14.   Limit to 20 spots.  This is part 1 of a 3 part series.  You need to sign up for each session.  Click HERE to sign up for SESSION 1, or contact the library to register. Kids Only Yoga

Saturdays in January, at 10:15AM

Yoga at an early age encourages self-esteem and body awareness with a physical activity that's noncompetitive. TV Book Club

We are very excited to be working with Mendham TV  to produce an TV book Club for our younger patrons.  Miss Tina our Children's Librarian shares a picture book each week with the audience and with the help of Mr. Alex demonstrates an easy craft using items commonly found around the home.  So grab you iPad (or other tablet) cuddle up with your child and click HERE and enjoy our new TV book club.
