Looking for a different type of Book Club? We are starting our Morning Mimosas & Virgin Marys Monthly Cookbook Club. Borrow a selected cookbook and take a review sheet to complete. Pick a recipe, try it and feel free to bring a sample to the meeting. The theme for March is Cookbooks by Ina Garten.

Learn & Listen: The Life & Music of John Lennon

The Life and Music of John Lennon” consists of a half hour biography presented by Maryanne Christiano-Mistretta, proprietor of Pear Tree. The bio is written so that audience members can join in and share their memories of John Lennon. The bio is followed by a half hour of live music by Keith Beck. America's Funniest Grandma

Join us as we welcome Marion Oxenhorn, the LaffLady, for an entertaining afternoon of stand-up comedy. Find out how a grandma from Morris Plains changed her life and career several years ago with an act that blends topical humor with wry observations about domestic life. Adult Yoga

Our 1 hour Yoga classes are held on Tuesday and Thursday at 8:30 AM. The monthly cost varies depending on how many classes are held each month. You can sign up for Tuesday and/or Thursday sessions. Drop-ins if room is available cost $8 per class.

Morning Book Club

Come join our diverse and lively monthly Book Club. We usually meet the fourth Friday of each month (September - June), and read a great variety of books throughout the year. Participants take turns acting as the discussion leader. Please contact the library to sign up or for more information. Friday January 26 at 10AM we will be discussing Tea Girl of Hummingbird Lane by Lisa See. Friday, Feb. 23 at 10AM we will be discussing To The Lighthouse by Virginia Woolf

Now you won't have to worry - join the Borough Best Sellers and we'll do it for you, automatically! All you need to do is fill out a form letting us know who your favorite authors are.
