Safe Computing
Friday, April 25 at 1 pm

Why learn about safe computing? What is at risk? These and other question about computer safety will be discussed in this timely and informative program by Joe Robbins.





Computer Classes for Adults

April 23--Free Apps for iPad. Learn about the latest and greatest FREE apps for your iPad. You will need to know your Apple IP password for this class.
April 30--Zinio. Learn to download current magazines to your tablet.You need to bring your tablet to class.
May 7 iPad for beginners. Please bring your iPad with you to this class.
May 14 iPad Users Group. This is a NEW program. Learn more about your iPad from other iPad users. Discover tips and tricks, and talk about the apps you find useful. Be sure to bring your iPad.

Toddler Story Time
Thursdays in April at 10:30AM

New 30 minute program starting in April. Bring your toddler to the library to listen to a story and do a fun craft! Registration is required.





Cinco De Mayo Fiesta
Friday, May 2 at 3:15PM

We will be making sombreros, maracas and having fun opening a pinata. All ages.

One hour classses begin prompltly at 8:30AM
Tuesday session runs from Tuesday May 6th to Tuesday June 24.
The cost is $40 for the Tuesday session.
$8 per class will be welcomed if there is room.
2014 Release Form must be on file. Stop in at the library to find out more information or to sign up.

Knitting Club for Middle and High School Students

Always wanted to learn to knit? Come to the library on Friday May 9 at 3:30PM and learn how to knit or imporve your skills. We will provide the yarn but please bring a pair of knitting needles, size 8 or 9 will work the best. For more infomation or to sign up please contact Miss Amanda our Children's librarian.




In celebration of Children’s Book Week, the Morris Area Youth Services Committee (MAYS) presents: Step into A Story Week
May 12-17.

Celebrate some literary classics in honor of Children’s Book Week.  Twenty participating libraries in Morris County have decorated library spaces based on special books; for example you can visit the land of Dr. Seuss here at the Mendham Borough Library or get lost in Alice’s Wonderland at the Mendham Township Library.  The Borough Library also needs help finding some of the Dr. Seuss characters who have stepped out of their stories and are hiding in the library.  Take part in this Seusstastic Scavenger Hunt and win a special prize.




Science Club
Tuesday, May 13 at 4:30PM

Join us at the library for our new program with instructor Sammy Rizzuto. She will help children from 1st to 5th grade explore the world of science through fun experiments! Registration is required.



Family Movie Night
Wednesday, May 21 at 6PM


Join us for some fishy fun with Disney's Pixar's classic Finding Nemo. Snacks provided. Open to all ages but parents must stay with their children.

Memory Loss, Dementia and Alzheimer's Disease
Wednesday, May 29 at 7PM

What are the most important things to know about memory loss and what might it mean for you? This program will discuss the different types of dementia, their risk factors, obtaining a diagnosis, current research and planning for the future. Lecturer Amy Matthews is the Associate Director of Education and Training for the Alzheimer's Association Greater New Jersey Chapter. Registration required.

Through our website, you will have unlimited multi-user access to complete 50 digital magazines titles, easily viewed on most Internet-enabled devices.

Friends of the Mendham Borough Library 2014 Membership Drive

Its time to renew or join the Friends of the Mendham Borough Library for 2014. Our Friends group raises money to support many of the library activities. Borough Best Sellers Program

You've just heard that Nora Roberts or James Patterson has a new book out but don't have time to get the library to place it on hold. Now you won't have to worry - join the Borough Best Sellers and we'll do it for you automatically. All you need to do is fill a form letting us know your favorite authors. We will place holds for up to 10 of your favorite authors. Click HERE to sign up online (via Survey Monkey) or click HERE to print out a paper copy and return to the library.




Notary Service Is Now Offered at the Library
