Our adult summmer Reading program is a great time to celebrate and explore mind expanding literature, or a good beach read! Read or listen to any book and enter each week for a chance to win a prize. Two drawings will be held.

Register and pick up your reading log at the library. Keep track of your reading at home and enter to will cool prizes! Last day for entries is Wednesday, August 9th.


Crafternoon--NEW arts & Crafts Series
Thursdays, July 27 and August 31 at 2PM

Join Mr. Ryan and friends for an afternoon of arts and crafts. Let your inner artist out. Fun for all ages!


Fun and Games
Saturdays, July 15 & August 12 at NOON

Spend the afternoon with your friends playing BINGO and board games.




Late Night @ the Library: Midsummer Night's Dream
Friday, July 28 7-10PM (rain date August 4)

Join Mr. Ryan and his space-faring friend Matt for an evening of water balloons and stargazing. The new moon has just arrived so plenty of stars will be visible in the night sky! Family Movie Night: The Good Dinosaur
Thursday, August 17 at 5:30PM

Enjoy the Disney-Pixar film "The Good Dinosaur" with your family and friends at the library. Popcorn and drinks will be provided. Rated PG.

Yoga at the Library
Tuesdays and/or Thursdays at 8:30 AM

Our 1 hour Yoga classes are held on Tuesday and Thursday at 8:30 AM. The monthly cost varies depending on how many classes are held each month. You can sign up for Tuesday and/or Thursday sessions. Drop-ins if room is available cost $8 per class.



Museum Pass Program

FREE Museum Passes at the Library
Use your library card to get free museum passes! We currently offer museum passes to The Montclair Art Museum in Montclair NJ, Imagine That! in Florham Park, Intrepid Air and Space Museum on the waterfront in New York and Grounds for Sculpture in Hamilton NJ. Mendham Borough residents with a current Mendham Borough Library card may reserve museum passes up to 3 months in advance. Call the library today and reserve your pass!



1000 Books Before Kindergarten

2017 is the perfect time for your child to join our 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten Program. Encourage early literacy skills for kids from birth to kindergarten with this fun, easy library program. Borough Best Sellers Program

You've just heard that Nora Roberts or James Patterson has a new book out but don't have time to get the library to place it on hold. Now you won't have to worry - join the Borough Best Sellers and we'll do it for you automatically. All you need to do is fill a form letting us know your favorite authors. We will place holds for up to 10 of your favorite authors. Click HERE to print out a paper copy and return to the library.
