We are excited to announce the launch of the new MAIN 3M Cloud Library, our new e-book and downloadable audiobook product. Go to http://www.3m.com/us/library/eBook/index.html to download the App and get started.

Once you have the app downloaded to your device(s), you can browse the MAIN Cloud or search for e-books and audiobooks in the MAIN Library Catalog.

 

 

Crazy 8s Math Club Grades K-2
Friday, March 27 at 3:15PM

Join our newest program as we explore things that make math fun. We will explore math in fun ways. Limit to 15 kids per session so make sure you sign up today!

 

 

Annual Spring Egg Hunt
Saturday, March 28 at 11AM

Join us for our Annual spring Egg Hunt followed by a fun spring craft. The hunt will begin PROMPYLY at 11AM. Registration by Monday March 23 is required. Call or stop by the library to sign up.

 

 

 

 

Robodyssey Robotics Program
Tuesday, March 31 at 1PM

Amazing Spring Break program for kids 4th grade and above. Come explore the world of robotics with instructor David Peins. Kids will learn how to program a robot and lead robots through a maze! Mendham Borough residents only, space is limited. Call or stop in at the library to register for this program.

 

 

Magic & Mayhem--Late Night @ The Library
Friday, April 10 at 7PM

Join us for a special night at the library with MAGICIAN Mark Zacharia! He will be here to teach street magic tricks to amaze your friends! Space is limited so make sure to sign up today! For grades 3rd-8th.

 

 

 

Turtle Dance Music
Saturday April 11 at 10:30AM

Come enjoy a sensory-friendly music and movement concert with Turtle Dance Music. Sign up for our 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program while you are here! For children birth to Pre-K (siblings welcomed space permitting). Call or stop by the library to register for this program.

 

 

 

 

Avoiding Garden Bloopers
Know the 3 R’s  of Successful Gardening: Right Plant, Right Place, Right Effect
Thursday, April 16th at 7:00 pm

Master Gardener Gail Di Domenico will discuss hardness zones, soil pH and conditions, light exposure, plant characteristics, features and attractions. Information on trees, shrubs, perennials, vines, ground covers, bulbs and annuals will be provided, along with many photos and suggestions.  Whether you are hiring a professional of doing it yourself, planting an expensive tree or a tiny annual, it pays to be in-the-know to protect and increase the value of your landscape investments.  Proper selection and techniques save time, money, and labor and add to gardening enjoyment. Love reading the current issue of magazines? We are pleased to announce the availability of Zinio for Libraries, the world’s largest newsstand to Mendham Borough Library card holders. Through our website, you will have unlimited multi-user access to complete 75 digital magazines titles, easily viewed on most Internet-enabled devices.

One hour classses begin prompltly at 8:30AM
Tuesday session runs from March 3 to April 28.
Thursday session runs from
March 5 to April 30.

The cost is $45 for each sessions and drop-ins,
$8 per class will be welcomed if there is room.
2015 Release Form must be on file. Stop in at the library to find out more information or to sign up.
Space is limited.

 

Notary Service Is Now Offered at the Library

To start using Pronunciator, go to Pronunciator and REGISTER (email/library card number). Now look in your email, where you will receive an email with a temporary student ID and password. You may change it under your Account once you log in.

 

 

 

Borough Best Sellers Program

You've just heard that Nora Roberts or James Patterson has a new book out but don't have time to get the library to place it on hold. Now you won't have to worry - join the Borough Best Sellers and we'll do it for you automatically. All you need to do is fill a form letting us know your favorite authors. We will place holds for up to 10 of your favorite authors. Click HERE to print out a paper copy and return to the library.
