Local Author Book Talk On How They Got Published
Thursday, November 20 at 7PM

Join us Thursday November 20th at 7:00pm as we welcome three local authors.  Each will talk about their book, and their journey to publishingRegistration is required.

Cinnamon Girl: A Village Cooks Mystery by Valerie Horowitz. Cinnamon Girl is the first in a series of V mysteries set in fictional Mendham/Chester area. Valerie Horowitz is a life-long cookbook lover, and works in publishing. 

Knowing Where You're Going: New York City (The Ultimate NYC/ Manhattan Travel Guide Book with Maps) by James Schmitt. “This colorful NYC guidebook takes an innovative approach to exploring America’s number one travel destination with a highly visual map-based format” says Amazon.  Mr. Schmitt’s book is currently the Best Seller in “New York City Travel Books”.


Pharm House: A Pharmaceutical Mystery by Bill Powers. A Suspense/Thriller Novel set in today’s International Pharmaceutical Industry. Mr. Power’s book has been selected as a National Indie Excellence Award Finalist for 2014 in the Medical Mystery Thriller genre.


Both Sides Now: A Journey from Research to Patient by Alice Lazzarini.
Having been a member of the team that discovered the first Parkinson’s disease-causing gene mutation in the synuclein protein, the Author realizes she is developing the symptoms of the very disease she had researched. Only after facing a disease that can cause complete dependency is she able to forge her independence.  




One hour classses begin prompltly at 8:30AM
Tuesday session runs from September 9 to October 28 is FULL.
Thursday session runs from September 11 to October 30, and
is FULL.

$8 per class will be welcomed if there is room.

Notary Service Is Now Offered at the Library

Library is now offering library patrons access to the World Vital Records subscription research database. Access to family history records worldwide – including digitized newspapers, military, vital records, historical maps.

Its time to renew or join the Friends of the Mendham Borough Library for 2014. Our Friends group raises money to support many of the library activities. Borough Best Sellers Program

You've just heard that Nora Roberts or James Patterson has a new book out but don't have time to get the library to place it on hold. Now you won't have to worry - join the Borough Best Sellers and we'll do it for you automatically. All you need to do is fill a form letting us know your favorite authors. We will place holds for up to 10 of your favorite authors. Click HERE to print out a paper copy and return to the library.
