Library Cookie Swap
Saturday, December 5 at NOON

The weather outside is frightful, but sharing cookies can be so delightful! Tired of the same old holiday cookie recipes? Want to sample a cookie before making a whole batch? Come to the library Holiday Cookie Swap, meet fellow neighbors and bring home recipes and cookies for the holiday. Call the library to register for this program.
How it works:
1. Choose what cookie you would like to bake, call the library to register and "claim your cookie"
2. Make 2 dozen cookies to share and a dozen for sampling, that's 36 cookies total.
3. Bring copies of your recipe to share and a container to bring your cookie assortment home.



Holly Trail
Saturday, December 5 at 11AM-1PM

Come out of the cold and into the warm Mendham Borough Library while on the Holly Trail. Children can decorate a cookie and make a holiday card anytime between 11AM-1PM. No registration required for this drop in craft.




Family Night Event: Gingerbread House Workshop
Monday, December 7 at 6:30PM PROGRAM IS FULL

Come spend time as a family as we join Marianne Cliffer of Edible Arts in creating our very own gingerbread houses!  Supplies will be provided by the library.  Open to Mendham Borough families only.  Registration is required.  This program is now FULL. Contact library to be placed on the waiting list.





Funding College Without Going Broke
Thursday, December 10 at 7PM

Mike Velasco, noted college expert will give you the inside scoop on how to send your kids to the school of their dreams without going broke; how to triple your eligibility for aid, and how to find scholarships or grants. To register for this program click HERE or call the library.



Late Night @ the Library: Chocolate Fest
Friday, December 11 at 7PM

Indulge your inner chocolatier at the library’s Chocolate Fest!  There will be a chocolate fondue, trivia and trivia games.  The program will run from 7PM-10PM.  Open to 3rd -8th graders and registration is required.  Space is limited.  Click here to sign-up.

Thursdays at 10AM

Come join the fun of playing Canasta! Beginners and experienced players welcomed! Please register for this program.




Chess Club
Thursday, November 12 at 6:30PM

Intrepid Musuem Library Pass Program

The library now offers a Library Membership Pass to the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum in New York City for up to 6 people.  The Pass may be reserved up to 1 month in advance of the desired date and may be borrowed for 3 or 4 days. This FREE pass does not include admission to the Space Pavilion. Mendham Borough Library cardholders only. Please stop in or call the library to reserve the Pass.



Yoga November/December
Tuesdays and/or Thursdays at 8:30AM

Stop by the library to sign up for Yoga classes. Tuesday sessions run from November 3-December 29 and cost $45. Thursday sessions run from November 5-December 17 and cost $30. Drop-ins if room is available is $8 per class. Space is limited, sign up today!

Borough Best Sellers Program

You've just heard that Nora Roberts or James Patterson has a new book out but don't have time to get the library to place it on hold. Now you won't have to worry - join the Borough Best Sellers and we'll do it for you automatically. All you need to do is fill a form letting us know your favorite authors. We will place holds for up to 10 of your favorite authors. Click HERE to print out a paper copy and return to the library.
