Lincoln Child the master of the techno-thriller and co-author of the Preston & Child thrillers is the honored guest for this very special evening. The evening will include cocktails, music and a silent auction. Tickets are $60 and may be purchased at the library. To order tickets or for additional information please call the library.




Costume Swap
Drop off Costumes October 5-15
Swap Dates: October 16: 2-5PM & October 17: 10AM -Noon


Join our Halloween Costume Swap! Drop off your gently used costumes and receive a coupon for a new to you costume! Costumes found at the swap without a coupon are a $5 donation to the library. The Library cannot guarantee that every child will find a costume that fits or a costume that they like.



Computer Classes in October
Wednesdays at 10AM

Oct 14--iPad and iPhone for the beginner. This class is especially for the new iPad user. Bring your iPad to class and learn how to make the most of it at the user-friendly class.

October 21--3M Cloud Library. Learn how to use our 3M cloud library to download eBooks and audio books onto your device. 3M cloud supports all devices expect e-ink kindles.

October 28 --Zinio Digital Magazines. Learn how to download current magazines to your tablet. You need to bring your tablet to class and know your app store password.

Canasta Group
Thursdays at 10AM

Come join the fun of playing Canasta! Beginners and experienced players welcomed! Please register for this program.





A Night Under the Stars--A Special Family Event
Friday, October 16 at 6:00PM

Come out and join the Morris Museum Astronomical Society as we gaze at the stars! Telescopes will be provided along with some fun crafts! Open to families of all ages and sizes! Program is FULL. Call the library to be placed on the waiting list.



Lego Club
Saturday, Oct 17 at Noon

Cooking From Fall's Bounty
Tuesday, October 20 at 7PM

The autumn harvest brings an abundance of delicious and nutritious fruits and vegetables. Join Dietician Jenny Burns in partnership with the Chester ShopRite as she shows how to cook these fruits and vegetables. Make sure to come hungry since we will prepare and share wonderful recipes. Late Night @ the Library: A WILD Night

Intrepid Musuem Library Pass Program

The library now offers a Library Membership Pass to the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum in New York City for up to 6 people.  The Pass may be reserved up to 1 month in advance of the desired date and may be borrowed for 3 or 4 days. This FREE pass does not include admission to the Space Pavilion. Mendham Borough Library cardholders only. Please stop in or call the library to reserve the Pass.



Yoga Returns in September
Tuesdays and/or Thursdays at 8:30AM

Stop by the library to sign up for Yoga classes. Tuesday sessions run from September 8-October 27 and cost $40. Thursday sessions run from September 10-October 29 and cost $40. Drop-ins if room is available is $8 per class. Space is limited, sign up today! Both sessions are full.

To start using Pronunciator, go to Pronunciator and REGISTER (email/library card number). Now look in your email, where you will receive an email with a temporary student ID and password. You may change it under your Account once you log in.




Borough Best Sellers Program

You've just heard that Nora Roberts or James Patterson has a new book out but don't have time to get the library to place it on hold. Now you won't have to worry - join the Borough Best Sellers and we'll do it for you automatically. All you need to do is fill a form letting us know your favorite authors. We will place holds for up to 10 of your favorite authors. Click HERE to print out a paper copy and return to the library.
